Delayed into Sydney? Your transfer should flex with you
International and domestic flights into Sydney regularly run late due to weather, air traffic or connections. If you pre-book a private airport pickup and provide your flight number, the pickup window can be adjusted around your actual arrival — instead of leaving you stranded at a fixed clock time.
What to enter when you book
- Correct terminal if known (T1 / T2 / T3)
- Flight number (e.g. QF1, EK412)
- Mobile number that works in Australia (or roaming enabled)
- Exact drop-off address (hotel, apartment, office)
After you land
- Turn on your phone as soon as permitted.
- Check SMS/email from your booking for meeting instructions.
- Collect bags, then proceed to the agreed pickup area.
- If you cannot find the driver, call the number on your confirmation — do not leave the terminal area without contacting support.
Waiting time — be realistic
Clearing T1 after a long-haul flight can take longer than domestic arrivals. Good transfer bookings allow reasonable complimentary waiting after landing; if you are stuck in baggage or secondary checks, message the driver/support early. Extra waiting beyond the included window may be chargeable — your quote/confirmation explains the policy.
